Architecture, Tango and Amazing Landscapes

January 11, 2009 by HostelBookersLeave a Comment

It's hard to know where to start when describing Argentina: a country of vibrant cities that somehow find their way onto every backpacker's wish list, Argentina is also a place of incredible diversity and natural beauty. From tango clubs in charmingly chaotic Buenos Aires to breathtaking treks across the Perito Moreno Glacier, it's a truly beguiling travel destination. What's more, despite its modern (and often quite 'European') metropolises, … [Read more...]

July 1, 2008 by DaveLeave a Comment

Racetrack Playa Death Valley - The Racetrack Playa is located in the central part of Death Valley National Park about 35 miles South West of Scotty's Castle. 27 miles of this distance is on improved dirt roads - generally no deep sand, lots of small rocks but usually only a few bigger rocks you have to watch out for if you are driving a car. April 1, 2008 by DaveLeave a Comment

Denali National Park is located between Fairbanks and Anchorage and is home to the mega attraction, Mt. McKinley - North America's tallest mountain at 20,320 feet. Unfortunately McKinley is only seen about 25% of the time as this mountain creates its own weather and which means it and most of the park are covered in clouds the majority of the time.
