Portugal’s Secret Superpower? Making Slow Feel Special

August 22, 2025 by Tanishq Jain1 Comment

We didn’t plan on falling in love with slowness. Our idea of vacation usually meant seeing as much as possible, racing from attraction to attraction. But this time, something felt different. Maybe it was fatigue from packed itineraries or the itch to feel something more grounded. So, when Portugal came up in conversation, we agreed: let’s go, but let’s not rush it. We started looking beyond the usual city breaks and beach resorts. What caught our … [Read more...]

Monsoon Treks in Nashik: A Spiritual and Historical Journey on Brahmagiri and Beyond

August 10, 2025 by Urbanchats1 Comment

Last Sunday, I set out on a solo adventure that turned into one of my most memorable monsoon experiences in Nashik, my hometown. As a Nashik native, I’ve always been drawn to the Western Ghats during the rains, when the hills transform into a lush, misty paradise. This time, I chose to trek Brahmagiri and Bhandardurg Fort near Trimbakeshwar, a journey that blended nature, spirituality, and history in a way I hadn’t expected. Here’s my story, … [Read more...]

July 10, 2025 by Silvia FaenzaLeave a Comment

Italy is a country whose richness doesn't stem solely from its monuments or grand history. It isn’t just about its museums, nor even the unparalleled beauty of its Baroque or medieval cities. Vino Voyage: A European Adventure

June 1, 2025 by Dave2 Comments

Before I left on my latest trip to Europe, I randomly sent a WhatsApp message to one of my travel blogger friends, Isabel from Bel Around the World. It turns out she was in London finishing up her travels in Europe before heading down to Thailand to speak at TBEX. She met my friend and I at LHR as soon as we landed - and then we were off on a whirlwind nearly 3-day road trip of the countryside outside of London. Our first stop was Wrotham, the … [Read more...]

A Long Weekend in New Mexico and West Texas

April 1, 2025 by Dave5 Comments

We landed in Albuquerque (one of the more difficult to spell U.S. cities), New Mexico. The last time I was here was by car and the entire city was a ghost town; I recall it was difficult to find any open restaurants and we ended up eating from a fast-food cart parked across from the downtown Rail Runner Train Station. This time we rented a car and immediately headed up to Santa Fe. We stopped at St. John's College, loaded up on fresh ripe … [Read more...]
