Kuru Shoes (Reviewed: Jun 2010)We recently wore a pair of these shoes on a trip to Hawaii. While being new these shoes hardly needed breaking in and wore wonderfully on hikes in the diverse microclimates of Maui. From running beachside on the edge of the surf to hiking at 10,000 feet on the upper slopes of Haleakala these shoes held up very well to the different rigors. Kuru shoes are lightweight, extremely comfortable, and very breathable (especially nice in humid climates).
