    Default South America Trip

Has anyone taken a boat from Iquitos Peru down the Amazon into Brazil - I know this is a very great distance depending on how far you go - I would probably go to Manaus and then fly out from there to Montevideo or Uruagay - has anyone taken a boat from Iquitos to Manaus - and if so how long can it expect to take - depending on the type of boat...

I am planning on taking a trip to South America this April and May.

I am thinking of visiting Bolivia and Argentina - any recommendations for "must sees"?

    Regards,

I visited Buenos Aires lots of times, so here are my tips:

    • Go to learn some tango in la Viruta
    • Eat lots of meat, asados and choripanes
    • It's nicer in spring
    • Stay in a hostel called Pax Hostel, it's next to all the nice things in San Telmo, which is my favourite place in BA. It's also next to the subway.
    • Go to Palermo (specially "los bosques de Palermo" and palermo soho).
    • Take a trip to Tigre.
    • Go to the MALBA museum (contemporary art).
    • Visit Recoleta.
    • Visit Puerto Madero.
    • Enjoy the night life! It's awesome.

Those are the first things that i can remember

    Default Thanks

Ariel - cool, thanks for the tips. I'll check out that hostel next time I'm in Buenos Aires - I was in Argentina last month for the 2nd time - mostly around the Foz Iguazu area. We had a great time in BA and hit most of the items on your list.

Default Manaus is a great place to visit in Brazil

I had visited Manaus and it is my first time to come in there at first I dont know how and where to start my trip there. I found an agency that helped me gone through all my adventure there, I am really happy with their assistance, everything in their service was so perfectly worthy. I highly recommend my trip with Amazing tours Agency. It is your turn to find out what's the best in Manaus while choosing the right service.
Review here, I recommend this agency: amazing tours

Massive snow peaked mountains, pristine glaciers, tropical rainforrests; and just about any other type of environment you can think of: our Argentina tours include some of the most fun treks in existence.

Thanks for sharing these tips. I have visited southeast Brazil. It's a very beautiful country and I love Feijoada, a hearty stew with pork, black beans, and beef.
