This huge flea market was founded in 1960 and advertises over 8 miles of vendors. This market is located on Berryessa Road about 1.5 miles in from the 101 freeway in San Jose and is open Wednesday, Friday and the weekends. There are several huge parking lots all located approximately across from the actual flea market. If you visit on the weekends expect to walk 5-10 minutes to the main entrance due to the crowds.

Be sure to visit their 1/4 mile long produce section usually secured by a Mariachi band playing at one end. On average there are 2000 vendors selling their wares at any one point. This is the largest open air market in the USA. Food, and activities for children are also available as well as a plethora of snack stands and several restaurants. Weekends can be unbelievably crowded. For more info visit their website: www.sjfm.com
