New York is an older city and certainly much larger often overwhelming for first time visitors which is why signing up for New York Tours is a good idea. They sell all new York attractions, Hop on Hop off Bus tickets, other activities and combination experiences. New York City offers great … [Read more...]

My Top 5 Reasons to Take a Cruise
One of my favorite destinations for cruising is in the Caribbean - with island nations typically 60 to 100 miles apart, one can visit a different country nearly every day. It is a destination where one can just as easily opt for a short cruise or a longer one and still be exposed to different countries and cultures. And with plenty of beaches and year round warm weather, I've found myself in the Caribbean every November or December the past few … [Read more...]

Lago De Coatepeque, El Salvador – December 2018
On a sunny day, this brilliant blue lake reflects the surrounding steep slopes of the green jungle covered caldera presenting views that are truly inspirational. The lake itself is about an hour drive from the capital of San Salvador. The road around the lake is dirt - rough at times but certainly passable in a normal car when it is dry. The small island in the southern part of the lake is called Teopan and used to be a Mayan site. Today a … [Read more...]

Introduction to Havana

Following a very quick wait in customs, I then caught a taxi to Havana for 30 CUC, the Cuban currency (the airport is about 30-45 minutes from the center of the city). … [Read more...]
