Elena – truly sorry to hear about your experience – mirrors my own to some extent – quite satisfied with being a guide for years and then I actually experienced how they treat their guides when they find a review that isn’t glowing or 5 stars. Pathetic 🙁 I hope you can find enough work promoting your own tours or using another similar company.

Giana – I’ve focused on my own tour business since my problems with Tours by Locals. I have signed up for a few but haven’t pursued it that much – Vayable and Get Your Guide seem to be good companies. Here are a few other alternatives worth checking out:

Actually we are planning a trip to the BVI’s and the USVI’s this October – our visit will involve some sailing of course!

I’ve been very happy with this camera – I wish I could replace all the old photos on this site with photos taken from this camera! And the video is excellent as well.

Malta is on my list as well – and Scotland and Wales – will do a five country swing through these countries as well as Tunisia and Libya on my next trip to Europe.
