The World’s Most Scenic Flight Routes

March 27, 2024 by Mark SavvyLeave a Comment

When booking private flights, I’m usually gearing up to land and explore somewhere beautiful. Most of the time, when I travel by air, I don’t expect the flight to be as captivating as the place I’m traveling to, but some flight routes make booking the most comfortable private jet and sitting glued to the window an absolute must. If you’re looking for a magnificent view on the ground and from the air, these flight routes will provide you with the most stunning sights while you travel.

Along the Amalfi Coast
The Amalfi Coast is, without question, one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. The winding mountain roads overlooking the ocean are a sight for sore eyes from the back of a Vespa but are genuinely magnificent when taken in from the air.

Admire mellowed red rooves, pristine white sands dotted with brightly colored umbrellas, and bright turquoise seas for miles and miles. Spend time on your private charter, indulging your eyes with some of the most stunning scenery on the planet.

Cape Town to Victoria Falls
Flying from South Africa to Zimbabwe means flying over savannahs and mountains for almost three hours. Leaving Cape Town, you’ll see Table Mountain, Devil’s Peak, and Lion’s Head.

Next, you’ll see the rolling green wine farms that carpet wine country around Durbanville, and further out, you’ll see the verdant Cederberg Mountains. You’ll catch the vast savannahs of the Kgalagadi Game Reserve, then into Botswana and over the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

Coming into Zimbabwe, you’ll get a birdseye view of forest reserves, rivers, and the great Zambezi River.

Argentina to Chile
I love an adventurous trip, so I plan to fly from Argentina to Chile as soon as possible. Though the flight is a relatively short one (just over two hours from capital to capital), it is one that you’ll spend glued to the window watching the world beneath you roll by. Your flight will take you over rolling green plains and the soaring peaks of the snow-capped Andes mountains. This is truly a wild country, and most of it still exists precisely how nature intended.

Across the Seychelles
The Seychelles comprise 115 islands of varying sizes, and the best way to see them in all their glory is from the air. No traveler can ever forget the sight of this tropical paradise from your comfortable, relaxing seat on a private jet.

Over the islands, you’ll see lush, green forests coating mountain peaks and running right up to pristine beach sand. You’ll catch sight of some of the most luxurious resorts in the world and tiny little villages that pass by in the blink of an eye.

The water will be bright turquoise along the coast, but it’ll fade to white-capped navy as you fly out to sea.

The World Awaits
These are just some of the most beautiful flights in the world- some of which I’ve seen myself and some still on my bucket list. Which ones are you going to see first? More importantly, how will you choose to experience the journey?
