Since starting out as a travel writer after university (almost a decade ago), I’ve travelled to over 50 countries and written for a diverse range of publications including Rough Guides, Business Traveller and The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. My features are often accompanied by my own photographs, taken on my ever-trusty Canon.

Well, truth be told, I'm a 911 Emergency Medical Dispatcher but when I'm not doing that I try to do some of the things I love. I love history, I love to take photographs, I love to write, and I love to travel so it seemed to make sense to put all of those loves together into one spot - this blog.

Although I may have the "dizzies", I'm inviting you to join me as I gingerly travel through life in search of the best bargains in travel, food, and entertainment. Carry-on baggage only and don't forget your sense of humor!

After working for around 5 years as Application Security Consultant, I decided to quit my corporate job to pursue my desire of wanderlust. In October’15, I went on my first solo trip to Australia and after coming back I realized that I should do this more often.
