There’s no real set structure to this blog, what I hope to do when I put up a post is to convey a part of what I experienced when I was taking those photos. Sometimes a post will just contain photos with little in the way of words, and other times there will be a lot of discussion and explanation. I will also try to put up tips, thoughts, discussions etc. Anything that relates to travel, food, art and the experience of it all is fair game.

My name is Sam, Im a 22 years old and originally from America (such a weird thing to say). I grew up in New York and loved it, but I was ready for a change in my life. In May 2014 I graduated University with a dual degree in Political Science and Spanish. I had absolutely no clue what I wanted to do with my life, but had recently discovered a passion for traveling and exploring the world.

We enjoy nothing more than packing up our things, whether planned or very last minute and hitting the road. It doesn’t matter if it is by plane, boat, or automobile, we like to travel and we like to do it the scenic way. If there is a back road, we will take it!

Convivial was created from a love of people, travel, food & drink and giving. Wanting to share her amazing experiences she had while traveling, Convivial was born. The trips offered have been experienced firsthand by the employees. Convivial also loves giving back: a percentage of proceeds from all trips will be donated to either Special Olympics, Smile Train or something that is near and dear to your heart.
