My name is shing and I recently moved to London from a tiny town in Yorkshire. This travel blog specialises in London life, Scandinavia and the Arctic. Its chilly up there, but oh boy, its beautiful!

I am originally from California and still travel back there quite a bit. I am the mom of three boys ages 7,9 and 11 and a dentist. I have a BS in Microbiology from UCSB and my DDS from UOP in San Francisco. I love being alive and having the privilege of getting to experience so much of this world. I think there is a lot of beauty and amazement to be had just around the corner from our house or far away from it.

I grew up in a very small town in Germany and this is still the place I call home. By the age of 17, I spent my first year abroad in Florida/USA. Even though these were occasionally pretty tough times, I fell in love with all the unknown and different ways of life.
