I like to think of travel as recess for adults, an opportunity to play and escape from the everyday routine. It’s like hopping on Mr. Rogers‘ trolley and transporting to the Neighborhood of Make Believe. You get to be someone else (The Tourist) in a new place (Bali! Punta Cana! Detroit!) and create your own adventure. When you travel with a sense of wonder and an openness to a new environment, special things can and will happen.

40-somethings Evo Terra and Sheila Dee left the default lifestyle behind, adopting the digital nomad lifestyle to travel the world to become The Opportunistic Travelers.

We are a married couple with two very different tastes when it comes to travel. We take turns planning trips all over the world as a compromise. These are our experiences.

Having caught the travel bug somewhere along the line, I’ve attempted to travel as much as possible and I’ve lived in Goa, Bangalore, Singapore, Jakarta, Nairobi, Georgetown (Guyana) and New Delhi. Things finally came a full circle and I find myself back in Goa again.

Currently I am working in Infor Manila as an Associate Business Analyst. I have a great sense of humor, too. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas. I am passionate about traveling, outdoor activities, watching movies and enjoy great chats.

Im fulfilling my lifelong dream of living in Europe. A child of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, Im an expat, aspiring travel photographer, newlywed, and wine enthusiast. This is my story.

As a young girl I dreamt about working for National Geographic (or being Nancy Drew). Exploring little known corners of the globe, pockets filled with rolls of film, pages of a journal warped with inspired scrawl. All of that adventure. All of that unknown…There is so much magic and wonder generated by the act of the journey. The body seems to fade away, to be suspended above itself leaving only colours, flavours, sounds.
