My name is Annalisa and I was born in 1988. Ever since I was a teenager, Ive had the good fortune of being in a multicultural environment thanks to my academic choices, my many friends and of course, holidays. This caused something to awaken in me – a curiosity to discover new things. I love to travel, to meet people, to study languages and to discover new, exotic flavours.

Having always wanted to travel, we decided that it was now or never and that if we didn’t make it happen, “someday” would never come. So in 2011 we donated or sold everything we own (including selling over 100 things on craigslist and making countless trips to Goodwill to unload carloads of stuff).

We are Carles and Paula, a young couple from Valencia who like to make the most of their free time to travel. On weekends we are always making small getaways, either through the Valencian Community or its surroundings. And when we have a long bridge or vacation we do our best to go as far as we can, whenever possible to the east.

Living life by my bucket list making me a travel addict, an adventurer and a secret hippie trapped in a city girl's body.

Hello... Im VickyFlipFlop, a 20something travel writer and adventurer. I read a lot of blogs and find myself fantasising about six months through South America and jetting off to Bangkok via India, but really I dont want to, and cant afford to, give up my job for it.

I am told I come by the need to travel honestly. I grew up hearing about my grandparents traveling all over the world, as well as my parents bouncing all over just to see and do. When I was young I loved watching Indiana Jones and reading National Geographic. I dreamt about foreign cultures and exploring different countries. Maybe even finding a lost civilization or two.

Traveling with people you love can be all sorts of wonderful and beautiful. Learning to enjoy and appreciate each other's company and yearn for adventure is the best gift and bond you can create.

Just a simple blog that I initially setup for the purpose of family & friends spread around the globe to be able to read updates on where I’ve been and what’s going on in my life. This said, since traveling is one of the main hobbies in my life it should appeal as well to those interested in a travel blog with stories and pictures from various parts of the world you might consider going to or are about to visit.
