Looking to receive some additional exposure for your writing?
Dave's Travel Corner, founded in 1996 has built up a good International
following and traffic based
on variety and amount of content, link exchanges and social media outlets.
Requirements
Photos - we encourage photos to be included
with your journals but is not necessary. We recommend 3-5 photos per piece. Note
that 500 pixels is the maximum width recommended for any uploaded photos (for
those placed between paragraphs and 400 pixels width for photos embedded within
paragraphs. Any post with photos included is linked from our Journals widget on
our main page until 10 new journals are posted.
Content - we are looking for original
content.
Self serving posts about individual hotels, restaurants or other related
businesses with links are typically not approved.
Word Count - Each submission must have at least 750
words - no more than 2000 words.
Other
Journals may be submitted to minor grammar and editing before being posted.
You may include a brief bio, including one link with each submission.

Details
After clicking on the Guest
Login, fill
out the following:
1. Title
2. Status (choose pending)
3. Categories (choose appropriate region)
4. Summary - usually a short intro 1-3 sentences
5. Content (the article)
6. Below where you enter the content of the article there is a section titled
"Upload Images" - use the first link "add or upload image(s)" rather than the
2nd one - if you have photos to upload.
If so, and you want photos placed between paragraphs we recommend a size no more
than 500 pixels in width - and if you want the photos embedded within paragraphs
we recommend a size no higher than 400 pixels in width.
There is a preview button you can use at any time. If you place photos within
content you will need to copy this exactly: ***image#*** where # is the number of each image
you upload and paste this in the content where you want the photo to appear. We
can also place the photos for you. We are notified anytime a new post is made.
7. Be sure to click "save" at the bottom when you are done!
When using the Guest Login - we recommend pasting your text into Wordpad or
Notepad and then copying it into our Guest Login form. Copying directly from
Word often creates odd formatting issues.
