It is hard to review your own book and not be biased – but writing this review should theoretically be easy! The Freeways of Los Angeles highlights all the major freeways in the Los Angeles and Orange County Metropolitan Regions. Short descriptions are provided about each freeway which in part includes their common names, photographs, special geographic features, and other items of interest.
Part entertaining, part historical and part obsessive, this book is an entertaining read. The book is based on hours and hours spent driving all major and minor freeways in Los Angeles and Orange County. Making notes via voice dictation – roping in anyone who was up for a ride – these passengers would take the pictures while hanging out the side window. Little did they know they were also serving a very important purpose – the use of many carpool lanes!
Both tourists and locals alike in la Cuidad de Los Angeles will find this book useful and informative.
