I like to travel. A lot. Whenever I have the time and funds to do so. After lots of pushing by some friends of mine, I decided to start this site. The name “Nomadic Niko”, if you’re wondering, was coined by my friend Pete.

My name is James Clark and nomadicnotes.com is about my travels and working while on the road.

Im not certain where these nomadic adventures will take me next, but that is part of the adventure. I am hopeful that through these experiences, I can show others who enjoy nomadic adventure and discovery of other cultures that all it takes is just taking those first steps to achieving this great lifestyle.

My story starts off a little different than what you´ll most likely read on your typical travel blog. I don´t really in particular have an ´escape from the cubicle tale´ in the sense that I´ve never been in one before. The story of my ´nomadic life´ is one in which I have yet to work in Canada as a post university graduate with the majority of my 20´s having been spent overseas in Asia working as an expat English teacher, model, photographer, freelance writer and – of course – as a wandering nomadic soul completely infatuated by all the splendor and woe longterm travel has to offer an individual.

Like you, I was searching for destinations unknown, following fairy tales & folklores. Its when the hills happened, desert followed and yonder there was the lush green forests beyond whichIi heard the lullaby of waves – and I followed. It has been an inspiring journey – enlightening & refreshing.
