We are your average Canadian couple who grew up near the Rocky Mountains, we love the outdoors and whether it’s winter or summer. There’s adventure to be found in every season. By the time we met both of us had already developed a passion for travel and the world. In the summer of 2013, only 4 months into our relationship, we both travelled to Europe separately for a month.

TourAbsurd.com started out as a photoblog created in order to keep in touch with friends and family back in the U.S. It began when I took my first trip to Italy in the summer of 2007. I fell in love with the country and simply had to go back. Within 3 months of returning to the US, I gave away almost all of my belongings, packed what little was left, and hopped on a plane to start a new life overseas.

This blog is about girls who tour the world and lust after their next adventure. I hope to inspire others like me who works full time but makes the effort to travel. Don’t let your job be the reason you don’t travel! This is a place for me to share my travel itineraries to help with your travel plans. It’s also a place to share awesome photos + travel tips + foodie experiences with one another.
