I am 27 year old from Ontario, Canada, who is passionate about two things: teaching and traveling! I was raised by my parents who both love to travel, and it is no wonder that their passion was inherited by my sister and me. My great grandfather had traveled the whole world, so it is probably in my genes to keep moving. I have been traveling before I could even walk, and my first big road trip was before I turned one.

Welcome to Travels With Robby! We are Rob and Joan, a married couple with an unquenchable thirst for travel. Using only our carry-on bags (no matter how long the trip), we have visited six continents and 39 countries - and our list of places still to be discovered keeps growing!

This blog was created to inspire you to travel and explore experiences in interesting locations. You won’t find an all-inclusive resort in these pages. What you will find are thoughts on how to immerse yourself in local culture, food, history and people. I want you to be as excited about traveling as I am.

My passion is travel. Oddly enough, I enjoy the planning and researching almost as much as the actual trip. I am also blessed because my husband, Curt, is an avid amateur photographer and always happy to accompany me with camera in hand to capture the moment through the lens!
