Were Claire and Laura, identical twins, from England. We caught the travel bug in our early twenties after having travelled to Thailand, Kenya and Japan. Since then, we’ve pretty much spent every pay cheque on travel and, if we’re not travelling, you can usually find us planning our next trip (oh, and working)! Claire works in Marketing and Laura in Fundraising (which we do love, just not as much as travelling).

My name is Lauren Marinigh, I was born in a small town north of Toronto, Canada, called Orillia. Despite the fact that I have small town blood running through my veins, my parents put the travel bug in me at a young age. Growing up I was fortunate enough that whenever there was an opportunity for me to travel, my parents found a way to let me do it, even if it wasn’t in their budget.

We love to travel, meet new people, explore places, occasionally get lost, use our gift of traveller-sign, pick-up souvenirs, experiment with food, make friends, discover the perks of local transport, and experience new places! Basil (my travel partner & hubby) loves to capture our experiences through images, while I (Cheryl) love to write about them.
