We started traveling back in 2009 during a whirlwind, two-week trip to Peru. It was our first major trip out of the country, and that short time abroad changed our outlook on life. We returned from Peru ready for another adventure and two months later we were backpacking through Vietnam and Thailand. Our trips started taking us to more places, more frequently and always to different corners of the globe – Jordan, Indonesia, South Africa, Borneo, Argentina, you name it. We created this blog to chronicle our adventures, both old and new, as we check the world off our bucket list, one country at a time.
Budget Jetsetter is a blog about traveling. Me and fiancé love traveling so we tend to take every opportunity we can to go out and explore. We, like most people, have limited resources (read: money) to work with with so I will take advantage of maximizing the value of miles, points, fare deals, etc.
Hi, I am Anukrati. I am a dreamer, writer, and traveloholic from India. One day I got tired of answering all the questions about my trips, so I started writing about them. One thing leads to another, and here I am. Welcome to my blog bulbul on the wing!
I caught the bug. The travel bug. I love to travel any chance I get anywhere any time. I have been fortunate enough to have traveled quite extensively and look forward to much more in the future. I love photography. And those two wonderful hobbies of travel and photography fit perfectly together. This blog is a great outlet for me to share my travel adventures along with photographs friends have always enjoyed.
Travelling, especially African travel, gives me that butterflies-in –my tummy feeling. I can only explain it as pure happiness. Its a freedom that feeds my explorers appetite but also soothes me. It makes me feel so lucky to be alive and to be able to experience these spaces and make myself part of them.
