I had several blogs in the last years (deleted, offline, or still here). Mostly because I couldn’t stay on one, and let’s be realistic that’s one off a huge mess now. Soooo, I wanted to make a new one in order to have one constant spot where I could write about my travels and life etc. To share and keep my memories ! And because I really like blablating about what I like. So this blog is a sort of logbook about my life, my travels and so on, I hope you will enjoy it or find some interesting things.

My goal is to experience as much of the world as I can and to lead a location independent lifestyle. This blog will document my journey and, hopefully, inspire you to achieve your own goals

Carlos Melia ( 41) Argentinean born, citizen of the world, now living in New York for the last 10 years. From very young age, I was exposed to the world of luxury travel and lifestyle. Bachelor Degree in Hotel & Restarurant Management. Have worked for all ends of the travel and hostpitality industry. From my current postion as a travel agent and blogger, to a succesfull background in working for restauratns, hotels, airlines, cruises among a few others.

My friends refer to me as the Travel Channel.

Traveling, and exploring, just happens to be one of mine. It all started with a Study Abroad experience – One of the best experiences of my life I should add!

As empty-nesters who have left the working world, we have vowed never to check baggage again when traveling. Our motto: Take Less and See More. Our neon-orange 21-inch carryons served us well in the fall of 2012 when our first retirement trip took us to Italy for three weeks.

We are avid travelers and have logged over 2.5 million air miles combined. We regularly travel on business, both domestically and internationally, as well as traveling on holidays/vacations many times per year. To date, we have both visited over 50 countries and add new ones every year.
