I'm a lifelong adventurer with an unquenchable passion for travel. As of late 2017, I have visited all 50 U.S. states and more than 70 countries (and transiting through an airport does NOT count!).

Like to travel? So do we! Garry is a journalist, retired airline employee, and communications consultant. Carla is a TV and Web producer/director. Together we’ve been all around the world, sometimes on business, most of the time for pleasure.

Since I was a kid, I always dreamed of traveling to far away destinations and experiencing different foods, people and cultures. And at 27 years old, just a week after I completed my M.B.A., I packed up my apartment, put everything into a storage unit, resigned from my job and set off to travel the world. After 60 days, 19 countries, and over 4,000 pictures on my iPhone, I had an unwavering appetite for wandering that couldn’t be fulfilled.

I'm Michelle, aka Coconut Odyssey, a born and bred Londoner that has been lucky enough to travel to over 30 countries around the world. The ocean & wildlife are two of my biggest passions so my trips will always revolve around adventure, whether it's scuba diving in a far-flung tropical destination or searching for the big 5 on safari.
