I’m Brianne, an Idaho transplant currently living in Portland, Oregon. Everyday Runaway is a travel, wine and lifestyle blog for ordinary people who maintain a job, family or other commitments, but still enjoy escaping the monotony of everyday life through travel and quality experiences.

Nice to meet you and thanks for visiting Everyday Voyager – we are sisters Lorna and Amy. Growing up with an airline pilot for a father, we have been traveling since before we could walk. Although still packing in as many trips as possible each year, we understand that living constantly on the road is not exactly realistic. Instead, we look for ways to bring a little bit of our travels home each time and this what we hope to share with you. Adding some travel inspiration to your everyday life.

Other than travelling, photography and food, my passion is self driving. Self driving is an extension to my way of life which gives me enough freedom to travel and explore at my pace.

Not your typical vagabonds, we

I was raised and live in Columbus, Ohio, but I make a pretty good habit of getting out. After living in Chicago during college, I graduated to traveling and working as a freelance writer. Now, I split my time between my home base in Ohio and traveling. As a freelancer, I work in article writing and content marketing for travel brands that appreciate engaged, respectful, and sustainable travel. Sometimes.

My husband’s job requires him to travel. A lot. For years, I sat behind a desk while he wandered around the world without me. It sucked for both of us, but probably more for me.
