San Francisco, CA – Museums

Aquarium of the Bay is one of San Francisco's newer museums. This aquatic museum is located next to Pier 39. The primary feature housed inside is the long cylindrical glass tunnel. Visitors can walk through this tunnel and watch fish swim all around you. There are also other aquatic tanks. Allow at least one hour to absorb everything. They are open daily from 10am until 8:30pm. When visiting, we always enjoy the numerous shopping opportunities in Vancouver. Here are a select few: Chinatown Eaton's is located at 701 Granville Street in the large Pacific Centre. This Centre includes over 200 stores. Gastown - besides being known for its shopping, Gastown is the birthplace of Vancouver in 1867. Bloedel Conservatory is located on a hill overlooking the entire city of Vancouver. The observatory is surrounded by lush gardens. This is a great spot to bring the family for a picnic lunch. We always love to mix a little bit of shopping into our travels, especially in Santa Barbara. The city features numerous boutique shops, historical shopping centers, and galleries. Paseo Nuevo is one of our favorites; it is located between State and Chapala Streets in downtown Santa Barbara.
