Niemann-Pick Type C is a rare disease that affects only 500 known children worldwide with more still un diagnosed.
Two of my cousin’s children have this disease, it is currently terminal but research is being quickly worked on and there is hope for treatment and eventually a cure. This family has joined with other families and started their own foundation, Hadley-Hope – please watch this video:
