Culinary Institute Napa Japanese Tsunami Relief Dinner

April 19, 2011 by Dave1 Comment

This is a last minute event for Napa Valley California residents or those in the area, or those wanting to help support the Japanese Tsunami relief effort.

Rising Sun, Raising Support Thursday, April 21, 2011

4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

CIA Students, Faculty and Staff Invite You to a

Feast of Japanese Cuisine and Wines of the Napa Valley to benefit The American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund

Location: The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone

2555 Main St.
St. Helena, CA 94574

Join us for what promises to be an outpouring of many of our favorite foods from JAPAN in a walk-around dinner: sushi extravaganza, noodle bar comfort foods, yakitori (grilled skewers) hot from the grill, okonomoyaki (savory pancakes), and much more. Special guest chefs, including Ken Tominaga and Nori Kusakabe will bring their own Japanese specialties to the table. And, of course, our always generous winery neighbors in the Napa Valley are donating wines for both pouring and a student-run silent auction.

Ticket prices are $100 ($75.00 is tax-deductible) until April 19, 2011. After April 19th and at the door ticket prices are $125.

For more information, please contact Patricia Landis at 707-967-2328 or p_landis@culinary.edu

What a great opportunity to help raise money for the people in Japan. Wish I was able to make this event.
