Traveling on a Budget in 2016

June 30, 2016 by Jason W.1 Comment

airport-zurichTraveling can be a pretty expensive venture. Expensive is, of course, a relative term. Each traveler has different financial capacities, preferences, and responsibilities. However, despite the wide-ranging financial dynamics, no one likes to spend more than they can afford or pay more for less value. Everyone wants to get the maximum value for every penny they spend. The year 2016 has been and will continue to be an exciting and affordable year for Americans to tour around both internally and out of the country as well. Budgeting for trips has been pretty easy.

State of the American Dollar
The United States Dollar has been doing better than the Euro in the year 2016. This has made a significant difference in the tourism sector. Americans can plan for romantic vacation in European countries. The reason for this is that they can better afford commodities and services.

Airline Flight Promotions
The ban on Iran’s oil resources has been lifted. This has sent the oil market flooding and prices are predicted to plummet further. These anticipations, coupled with other economic indicators have prompted numerous airlines to reduce flight rates and schedule various promotions. A traveler who keeps track of these events or one who seeks the counsel of travel planners could cut on their traveling budget sizably in the year 2016.

Do research for easier planning
Making a budget could save you a lot of money and headaches. The travel budget dynamics are huge and could mean your financial health or peril. With the health of the American dollar soaring to unforeseeable scales, travelers are advised to carry out detailed research and analysis of specific things like:

• Hotel rates
• Major event occurrences
• Flight prices and promotions

Also, visit some of the most popular and reputable travel advisory websites to solicit for ample information and suggestions of the ideal exotic locales.

According to Usnews.com, some of the most enjoyable and cost-friendly places to visit in Europe include:

1. Barcelona, Spain
The city of Barcelona is a cultural hubbub that has numerous delicacies and is very close to the coast. It thus makes that summer vacation cost-friendly if you would like to hit the beach without breaking the bank.

2. Greece
This country is flooded with numerous cost-friendly touring areas. It has a tropical feel and is rich in historical ornaments. The meals at their taverns are pocket-friendly but very delicious. Make sure to visit the Crete.

Other great places to visit may include Iceland, New Mexico, Puerto Rico and Vietnam.

Proper planning for a trip helps you avoid a lot of unnecessary costs and problems. Some of the things you should already have figured out before you leave include:

• Your destination
• Your mode of transportation to the destination, to your destination and back home
• Accommodation during your visit- find the cost per head and if there are any financial benefits for joint orders or extended stay offers
• Fees for admission to particular sites, clubs and societies
• Navigation and interpretation fees and costs

The extent of travel is made much more enjoyable when local sightseeing combine both the historical artefacts with the modern urbanised cities. We as Indochina Travels try to incorporate very much this feature of combining the traditional with modernity.
