The Paros Airport is located on the south western side of the island about 10 kilometers from Parikia. This airport replaced the old airport in 2016. At least 8 flights leave daily from Athens to Paros. Olympic Airways does not have an office in Parikia any more. Parikia is the hub of Paros. The large whitewashed windmill is a prominent landmark which greets visitors when entering Parikia Bay; it stands next to the ferry arrival and departure area.
