Guest Post: Travel Business Cards – Why You Need Business Cards in Your Travels

June 27, 2012 by Dave3 Comments

The most obvious reason why you’re travelling is that you probably want to move away from the city, from the stress, and from your work. Sometimes it’s the adventure that takes us places, but how often do we forget the duties and work we’ve left behind? Well, there’s nothing better than the relaxing waves of the sea, the splendid breeze of the ocean, and a glass of an ice-cold cocktail while basking under the sun. Amidst the R&R we’re doing, … [Read more...]

Urbandillo Classic “Hobo” Tote Bag

April 7, 2011 by Dave1 Comment

This Urbandillo tote bag (the "Classic Hobo") is the creative idea of Veronica James, fashion designer and avid traveler. The bag embodies her philosophy of"shrink and go" fashion. Similar to the animal which inspired the companies' name, this tote bag shrinks down into a fairly small ball with the pull of the draw cord using Urbandillo's patented SHRiNXtm design. The Urbandillo seamlessly blends style and function. Its the perfect bag for … [Read more...]

August 16, 2010 by DaveLeave a Comment

During a visit to the 100 million dollar Kenzo Estate in Napa, (one of Napa's newest wineries and most expensive and a cool experience in an of itself) we discovered Moulton Brown in their bathroom. You can always judge the money behind a winery based on the quality of their hand wash and disposable tissue. This is high end hand wash from London (Naran Ji); it sells for $25/bottle - lovely aromatics. Details? www.moltonbrown.com … [Read more...]

This entirely self contained metal structure is called the Hoven, installed in a Honda I drive. It is excellent for road trips - throw in meat well wrapped in tin foil and 4 or 5 hours later you have a well cooked meal. This a travelers dream - pop in the food before you leave and don't have to worry about cooking when you reach your destination. The Hoven (The "Engine" Oven) A built on lid makes for easy access to the oven. High … [Read more...]
