Another trend that goes hand in hand with caring for our … [Read more...]

Feria de Sevilla
On November 16, 2010 UNESCO declared the Flamenco World Cultural Heritage, to be more precise it was declared to one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity and I could not think of a more respectable acknowledgment. The Flamenco is a hallmark for Spanish culture, especially for the south of Spain, and goes far beyond music and dance. Some would call it a way of life or an attitude. It embodies passion and seduction. … [Read more...]

Our Costa Brava Holiday
Last summer we went on holiday to Spain on the Costa Brava. We stayed at the Hotel Merce in Pineda de Mar (www.pinedademar.org). We loved this hotel. The food is very good, Spanish cuisine, with breakfast and abundant fruit and vegetables from the garden of the hotel owners. The rooms are good and with a cheap price. What distinguishes this hotel is its family and friendly atmosphere of the owners and staff of the Hotel. You feel in Spain. They … [Read more...]
Soaking up the slopes of Chamonix
When it comes to holidays, I'll admit that I'm more likely to be seen sunning myself on a sandy beach than hurtling myself down a mountain. Nevertheless, I'm not generally one to be beaten and when the opportunity arose to face my demons I decided things really could … [Read more...]
