Prague is a stunning city - well-known, but often not spoken of in the same manner as the most popular cities in Europe, such as London, Paris, or Rome. However, as more people find out about this beautiful Czech capital, its place on the radar for world travelers increases. If you have a trip to Prague planned, these are five things you absolutely must do during your time in Prague! Prague Castle Most going to Prague anticipate that Prague … [Read more...]

Cruising the Fjords of Patagonia

February 4, 2019 by Abdul Rastagar2 Comments

Few places around the world evoke as much myth and awe as Chile’s Patagonia region. The mere name conjures imagery of pristine wilderness and raw nature, of stunning scenery and awe-inspiring mountains. This is where land meets sea, where ocean currents are funneled through narrow gorges opening to cavernous bays, where innumerable fjords and glaciers carve through rocky massifs. Surrounded by only water for thousands of kilometers in three … [Read more...]

Tips for Trekking to Everest Base Camp-Ultimate Guide

January 25, 2019 by Pranaya Baniya8 Comments

Trekking to the mountains is a passion of many adventure lovers. It begins with a single step and slowly and gradually as we put one foot in front of the other, we push our body and our mind to reach places that very few people have ever been to. Trekking not only takes us to special Godly abodes but also helps us know our strengths and weaknesses. Out of all the places in the world, trekking to Everest Base Camp (the base of the world’s highest … [Read more...]

Bold Colors are Gearing Up on Virginia’s Creeper Trail

December 17, 2018 by Sarah C Miller5 Comments

A helicopter pilot by trade, my favorite way to take in the fall foliage for years has been to cruise around on a sunny day at about five hundred feet when colors are at their peak.  It was my favorite - until I rode a bicycle down Virginia’s Creeper Trail in autumn.  Sure, the more vertically challenged can still get great expansive views by driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway or Skyline Drive.  Still, there is just something about being in the … [Read more...]

Exploring Two Iconic Cities, New York and San Francisco

December 14, 2018 by Dave3 Comments

Located on opposite ends of the coast, both New York and San Francisco offer a rich variety of experiences and activities on but for different reasons. New York is an older city and certainly much larger often overwhelming for first time visitors which is why signing up for New York Tours is a good idea. They sell all new York attractions, Hop on Hop off Bus tickets, other activities and combination experiences. New York City offers great … [Read more...]

Staying at Eugene Oregon’s Inn at the 5th Perfect for Exploring Southern Willamette Valley Wineries

November 14, 2018 by Steve Mirsky5 Comments

Downtown Eugene Oregon is decidedly more laid back and outdoorsy than much larger and more renowned Portland to the north. The University of Oregon's extensive in-town footprint and streets packed with local non-chain shopping make it a pedestrian haven. Strolling here especially on weekends during the warmer months envelops you in the city's music scene like a sax player belting out tunes under a cavernous overpass enhancing the acoustics and … [Read more...]

Shamanic Shenanigans in São Tomé

September 27, 2018 by Pete MartinLeave a Comment

As we grind up the mountainside, a makeshift road block has been left meaning we have to halt. It looks like our journey is done. Three women and a small child arrive and laugh. They put down their huge buckets of bananas from their heads and inform us that local kids have created the temporary barrier to be able to charge a toll to use the road. They remove the obstruction so we can continue. The road is black volcanic rock, no more tarmac, and … [Read more...]

Day Trip: Ten Hours In Austin, TX

September 22, 2018 by Steve TaylorLeave a Comment

It was 12:15 pm when my plane touched down at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.  A jet-lagged stranger in a strange place, I wondered what Austin, TX might have in store for me.  The answer, I soon found out, was a lot.  With an urge to obtain some aerial photos of the city, I searched for parks in and around the downtown area and drove my rental car to Zilker Metropolitan Park.  A simple park, with an open field, Zilker would do just fine … [Read more...]

10 Days of Greece Holidays – 1Girl, 1Guy, 1Crazy Adventure

September 11, 2018 by Savvy Fernweh2 Comments

Recently I visited Greece for a 10 day holiday. Before planning our travels, I had some questions: - What are the best islands to visit in Greece? - Where to stay? - What to do? We had only 10 days and wanted this to be a dream trip. So we carefully chose to visit Santorini island, Mykonos island and Vikos Gorge in Zagoria. Although we had multiple flights through Athens, we did not really explore the city. Here are our favorite places … [Read more...]
