Starting July 15, 2016, Passengers Can Board-and-Scratch to Win Prizes and Enter to Win Daily Packages Online

LONG BEACH, Calif. (July 2016,) – Thirty-five years, more than 28 million passengers and 257,000 sailings later, Catalina Express, the leading boat transportation to and from Catalina Island, celebrates ferrying passengers to and from enchanting Catalina Island, beginning July 15, 2016.

Board-Scratch-and-Win: For one day only, Friday, July 15, 2016, any passenger who boards Catalina Express will receive a scratch-and-win card for prizes including a free mid-week round-trip sailing, two-for-one sailing, Commodore Lounge upgrade or complimentary non-alcoholic beverage. Winners have until March 31, 2017 to use their prize and this offer is good for one boarding only per ticketed passenger on July 15, 2016.

Enter to Win Online: Starting at 5 am July 15, 2016 and continuing for 35 days until 11:59 pm August 18, 2016, Island fans can visit Catalina Express’ 35th anniversary online page and enter to win daily prizes worth $350 to $750. Prizes include round-trip travel, overnight hotel stays , activities such as parasailing, kayaking, tours, spa day, passes to the newly opened Catalina Island Museum, meals and more.
