WebTV Travel Show Recognized by National Geographic Traveler 

Washington, D.C., April 13, 2010 — Jet Set Zero, the first online high-definition reality travel series and content network, has been recognized again for its pioneering take on budget travel, recently appearing in the March issue of National Geographic Traveler (http://blogs.nationalgeographic.com/blogs/intelligenttravel/2010/03/ready-jetset-go.html). The show, now in its second year, features twenty-somethings that have opted out of the daily grind of work and life to travel the world on what they can earn.

“Appearing in Traveler was a dream for us,” said Brian Lio, an original cast member and co-creator of the Jet Set Zero project. “We’ve had copies of it laying around for inspiration since even before setting foot in another country.”

Jet Set Zero cast members are required to put everything they have on the line, landing in a foreign country and securing jobs, housing and local friends in 90 days—all while saving whatever they can to do it all over again. “One day, you just have to stop making excuses and buy the ticket,” said Rob Ward another project founder. “There’s nothing that forces you to live your dreams like the sheer panic of finding yourself in a foreign country with a dwindling bank account.”

The show has been praised for its inventiveness and has amassed a considerable online following with dedicated viewers across more than 50 countries.

New video and blog content is released daily at www.jetsetzero.tv. Logon to follow season six, as a new cast of travelers heads to Quito, Ecuador.
