This April the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) is set to debut its long-awaited renovation and expansion of its La Jolla flagship campus. In addition, guests will be able to enjoy some 200 works of contemporary art with views of the Pacific Ocean serving as an inspiring backdrop. Opening in early summer 2022, The Kitchen @ MCASD will offer seating for up to 120 (inside and out) and robust to-go options.

Opened in March 2022, Go Go Amigo at Liberty Station features a Mexican-inspired fare as well as more distinctive fusion items. The menu also includes a selection of tacos, including al pastor, quesabirria, shrimp and pollo asada as well as classic sides and starters, soups and salads, and desserts. To complement the food offerings, Go Go Amigo boasts an expansive list of margaritas, specialty cocktails, beer and wine.

San Diego’s acclaimed SDCM Restaurant Group will debut an intimate gin-focused cocktail lounge, Captain’s Quarters, adjacent to the group’s The Grass Skirt (a hidden tiki bar) in Pacific Beach spring 2022. The new 1,472 square foot concept will feature curated cocktails highlighting what was once America’s favorite spirit, plus a complementary small-bites menu.
