Special Navy-themed programs will be running throughout the week. On Friday April 16, at 3 p.m. and Saturday, April 17 at both 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. guests can enjoy speaking directly with Navy divers as they participate in an interactive dive show. Guests will be invited to watch as Navy divers and Aquarium staff explore the habitats and lives of the animals in the South Carolina Aquarium's largest exhibit, The Great Ocean Tank. Before and after the dive shows on both Friday and Saturday, guests won't want to miss demonstrations of the remote control robots used in the Navy's ordnance disposal.

For the best view of the Blue Angels Air Show, join us on the Aquarium's Riverside Terrace Saturday, April 17 or Sunday, April 18 at 2 p.m. With limited viewing space, guests are encouraged to come early. The Blue Angels flight demonstration exhibits choreographed refinements of skills possessed by all naval aviators as well as exciting acrobatic maneuvers such as the four-jet Diamond formation.
