Hotel Offers Milk and Cookies at Turndown, Kid-Sized Bathrobes, Customized Bath Sponges, and a Special Children’s Menu

Los Angeles, CA (October 19, 2010) – With more and more guests checking in with their little ones in tow, the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, Bel Air is now offering a variety of amenities to welcome tiny travelers.

Reg Archambault, General Manager of the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, Bel Air, notes that approximately 6% of the hotel’s guests are children – and he would like to see that number increase to 10%. As a result, Mr. Archambault has added a variety of new amenities to make these guests feel most welcome.

For starters, kids under 12 will receive a customized bath sponge amenity with their first name spelled out with alphabet sponges. The hotel has also just received kid-sized bathrobes which are available upon request for junior guests.

Additionally, the hotel will provide milk and cookies at turndown (between 5 to 7 p.m.) for children 10 and under. Parents must make this request at time of booking in case there is any type of food allergy or they prefer not to have sweets for their children

Finally, Chef Olivier Rousselle has just designed a new Children’s Menu (10 and under) for OnSunset Restaurant – also available through room service – which includes typical kids’ fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus desserts. Items like Chicken Nuggets are on there, but you can get them fried or grilled. Other fare includes Fish Sticks, Hot Dogs, Grilled Cheese, and Peanut Butter and Jelly, as well as healthier options such as Grilled Halibut or Angel Hair Pasta with Meatballs. Most of the sides come with a choice of french fries, chips, or fruit.

The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, Bel Air, is also popular with families because it is a true urban retreat in the heart of Los Angeles with such kid friendly amenities as an outdoor swimming pool.
