Mellieha in Malta

September 13, 2019 by Samantha Priestley1 Comment

It’s always difficult trying to find reasonably priced holidays in the summer school break, so when I spotted this package deal to Malta I snapped it up for me, my husband, Tom and my two daughters, Eva, 12, and Lily, 10. I wasn’t sure what to expect, as Malta used to have the reputation of being a destination for older holiday makers, rather than families, but it seems the island is trying to change all that. My Trip To NY NY in Las Vegas

During that time, my travels took me through the small town of Boonsboro, where I noticed a cozy, cute little Inn all lit up for the Christmas season. I was pulled to it like a magnet and vowed to return to explore the area when the weather warmed. That opportunity occurred just this month, when I was able to … [Read more...]

All Aboard the Australia Bandwagon

September 2, 2019 by Beth SeagerLeave a Comment

Sitting on a 17-hour flight I felt like an ungrateful child.  I had the opportunity to take an amazing trip halfway around the world. UK office blocks are full to the dropped-ceilings with dreams of Down Under. Australia had just never been on The List. My husband and I were visiting friends who had fallen in love with Sydney and emigrated.  I assumed it would be very similar to the UK, and when we landed, it was.  Everything is in English, … [Read more...]
