The Neon Museum Launches Ticket Sales for Memorial Day Weekend

Nevada Locals to Receive “Love Our Vegas (LOV)” $10 Museum Admission for Limited Time

LAS VEGAS (April 2020) –The Neon Museum announces tickets are now available for purchase on its website for visits starting May 22. In addition, the museum will debut three new versions of its nighttime projection-mapping spectacle, “Brilliant!” and offer all Nevada residents special “Love Our Vegas (LOV)” $10 admission tickets for a limited time.

“When stay-at-home restrictions are lifted, we extend a special invitation to our local community to come enjoy Las Vegas’ crown jewel and the United States’ No. 1 open-air museum,” said Rob McCoy, president and chief executive officer. “We are especially looking forward to our visitors experiencing three new iterations of ‘Brilliant!'”

The new versions of “Brilliant!” celebrate distinctive themes—Wildest West, Atomic Tourism and Golden Age of Las Vegas—with each incorporating different musical soundtracks and video footage. During each showing, which lasts approximately 25 minutes, visitors will listen to music by multiple artists and see vintage video projections spanning the decades.

Visitors to the Neon Boneyard will also be able to see the recently re-lamped and electrified Stardust sign, as well as the four Tim Burton art works on ongoing exhibition in the Neon Boneyard: Lost Vegas Sign Tower, Neon Wall Grid, Betelgeuse sign and Guns “N” Booze.

The locals’ admission rate of $10 applies to general admission and “Brilliant!”, which must be purchased as two separate experiences. For more information about The Neon Museum, visit www.neonmuseum.org and follow its Twitter and Instagram pages.

ABOUT THE NEON MUSEUM
Founded in 1996, the Neon Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. It has been named “Best Museum” by Las Vegas Weekly, one of “Sin City’s Best Retro Sites” by MSN, “No. 1 Las Vegas Museum Sure to Entertain and Educate” by USA Today’s 10best.com, “One of the Top 10 Coolest Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do” by Forbes.com, one of the “Top 10 Historic Spots in Las Vegas” by Vegas.com; one of “15 Most Fascinating Museums in the U.S.” by VacationIdea.com; and earns a consistent 4.5 out of 5 rating on TripAdvisor. On its 2.27-acre campus, the Neon Museum houses an outdoor exhibition space known as the Neon Boneyard (“boneyard” is traditionally the name for an area where items no longer in use are stored); the North Gallery, home to the nighttime augmented-reality, audiovisual spectacle, “Brilliant!”; the Boulevard Gallery outdoor exhibit and event space; and its visitors’ center, housed inside the former La Concha Motel lobby. The museum collection also includes nine restored signs installed as public art throughout downtown Las Vegas. Public education, outreach, research, archival preservation and a grant-funded neon sign survey represent a selection of the museum’s ongoing projects. Both the Neon Boneyard and the La Concha Visitors’ Center are located at 770 Las Vegas Blvd. North in Las Vegas.
